About Owlets

Owlets Preschool class is based in the Old School House here at Anstey School, close to Buntingford.  We offer a high quality educational environment for your child with caring and qualified practitioners who have a real passion for early years.  
 
We cater for children aged between two and three years old.  Sessions are designed to enhance children’s learning through play and exploration. 
 
Resources are provided and activities are planned to suit each child’s individual needs and stage of development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
 
We offer child-initiated, free-flow play with a real emphasis on outdoor learning in our beautiful garden.  

All learning is planned and linked to the rest of the school through our Montessori classroom design and teaching approaches. The early years team plans together to ensure that links and connections can be made across the school whenever possible. 

Current session Times:  
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am - 3.30pm
Cost: £8.50/hour  

Free Funding
Working parents can access 15 hours of government funding for pre-school children.  (In some other circumstances, 2-year-old funding is also available.)  All children are entitled to 15 hours of government funding from the term after their 3rd birthday.
