Teaching Approach
We use a unique hybrid of Montessori principles and resources blended with the National Curriculum.
Wrap Around Care
School Day: 9.00am-3.30pm
Breakfast Club: From 8am (£5.50)
From 8.30am (£3.00)
Afterschool Clubs: Monday-Friday until 5pm (£6)
We offer a range of clubs to suit the needs of our children and parents. Clubs run throughout the year without interruption. We understand the need for reliability for our working parents so even if a club leader is absent we will still offer a club activity.
Parents booking breakfast and/or afterschool clubs in advance for 5 days a week throughout a term will receive a 5% discount
Learning Anstey Style...
Extra-Curricular
One of the perks of being a small school is the flexibility to enhance our children's learning experience by adapting our planning at very short notice. For example, a visit to the Anstey alpacas, Buntingford library, Shuttleworth museum, the Cambridge computing museum and botanical gardens ... to name but a few. We have 3 staff who are qualified to drive the minibus so the possibilities are endless! We are visited by peripatetic teachers for, piano, violin, ukulele and music therapy.
We offer the 30 hours free childcare for 3 year olds.
